Ël Välët is an enchanted place that breathes love and memories.
The valley is surrounded by a muffled silence broken only by the rustling of the leaves and the singing of the birds. This place has an ancient history, linked to the tradition of the families of truffle hunters who traveled these valleys in search of precious fruits of the earth.
Domenico Bussi buys the first two hectares of El Valet.
Domenico began the cleaning project along the central part of the valley, leaving and preserving the poplars and oaks present.
After the five-year clean-up project, Domenico plants fifty new trees.
Work begins on the truffle house where the Bussi family will live.
Fifty more new truffle plants are planted.
After eight years of work and waiting, the truffle house was completed and the Bussi family moved in.
After working for ten years around the world, the son Michele decided to return to Canelli and embark on a new adventure, following his father's passion and opening the truffle reserve to the public.
The Bussi family bought another hectare of land at the bottom of the small valley, extending the property from two to three hectares.
A new forest clearance project begins after the one in 2000, which includes the recovery of a small hazelnut grove and the planting of about 100 new mycorrhized plants on the area.
In the face of the incessant drought in previous years, a new irrigation system was installed that will allow one hectare of land to be irrigated.
